Welcome to today's devotional — the final day of the week, and the eve that ushers us into a new week. In today's devotional, we want to use the very nature of God to exalt Him and see why He deserves our praise, worship, and adoration in our lives and in His presence at all times.
Spring is a season that quietly preaches the faithfulness of God. Trees that once looked lifeless begin to bud again, flowers push through the soil, and the earth is clothed in fresh beauty. In the same way, God specialises in bringing newness into our lives — new strength, new hope, and new beginnings. In Isaiah 43:19, God declares His intention to do something new. He does not dwell on past failures or former disappointments. Instead, He invites us to perceive the fresh work He is already beginning. Just as spring does not ask permission to arrive, God's renewal often comes even when we least expect it.
Consider the story of Mary Magdalene at the tomb (John 20). What seemed like the end was actually the beginning of resurrection power. Her sorrow turned into joy when she encountered the risen Christ. This reminds us that no situation is beyond God's ability to transform.
Spring also calls us to respond. As creation responds to the changing season, we too must respond to God's invitation — especially through worship. Hebrews 10:25 encourages us not to neglect gathering together. There is a blessing, a refreshing, and a divine encounter that happens when believers assemble in unity.
Tomorrow being Sunday presents a wonderful opportunity. Make a conscious decision to go to church and worship the Lord. Don't treat it as routine — approach it as a divine appointment. In worship, burdens are lifted, clarity is restored, and hearts are renewed. Jesus said in John 4:24 that true worshippers must worship in spirit and in truth. That is where transformation happens.
Let this season not pass you by spiritually. Just as the earth blossoms, let your faith blossom. Let your prayer life deepen. Let your worship rise with sincerity and expectation. God is doing a new thing — position yourself to experience it fully.
Declare This Today: I step into a new season ordained by God. My life is being renewed, my strength is restored, and my heart is aligned for true worship. I will not miss what God is doing in this season. I will gather, worship, and encounter His presence in a deeper way — in Jesus' name. Amen.
